This notice explains how AfterShed handles the answers you give in our hair quiz. It adds to our Privacy Policy.
What the quiz asks
Your situation (for example a recent birth, hormonal changes, a GLP-1 medication or a weight change, stress or birth control), your shedding, what you have tried, how much time you have for a routine, and whether you are pregnant, trying to conceive, breastfeeding or under 18. We use your answers to show your result.
Without your name or email
We save your answers on our own server under a random quiz ID, to improve the quiz and our recommendations. If you place an order in the same browser, or later with the email you gave us in the quiz, we link your quiz to that order so we can see which recommendations help customers. We do not store your IP address with your answers.
With your email, only with your consent
If you tick the consent box on your result, we keep your answers together with your email in our email platform (Klaviyo) and send you your routine and follow-up emails based on your answers. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email.
No sale, no advertisers
We do not sell your quiz answers, and we do not share them with advertising platforms such as Meta or Google.
Your choices
To see or delete your quiz answers, or to withdraw your consent, email support@aftershed.com. We keep quiz answers for up to 24 months, or until you ask us to delete them.
